As the Design Director of Refinery29 my responsibility was to direct, mentor, manage and inspire a small team of designers in our 100 person company. We had 7,000,000 monthly visitors of which 3,500,000 were unique. With such a large audience it was important to aesthetic level high and visually and conceptually engaging. The rewarding part of my job was seeing the fanbase born of the work Team R29Design has created on various blogs, Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter.
